  • (de) In gespaltenem Schild vorne in Schwarz ein rotbewehrter, gezungter und gekrönter goldener Löwe, hinten in Silber ein schwarzer Bischofsstab belegt mit einer roten Mitra.

Origin/meaning

The lion is the lion of the Pfalz, to which the area historically belonged. The crozier and mitre are derived from the oldest seal of the village, known since 1466, which shows a bishop.
