Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 24, 2004.
The fortress with the three towers represents the historical tradition of the locality.
The wavy bar refers to the name of the area: Berzasca = fast water.
The boat and the net show that the town is located on the banks of the Danube river, and fishing is the traditional occupation of the inhabitants.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
