Origin/meaning
Shield: Silver Gray and golden yellow are the colors traditionally used by Finance units. Gold is emblematic of high achievement and excellence; black denotes solvency. The diamond is adapted from the Finance Corps insignia of branch. Blue is from the Massachusetts state flag, while the powder horn represents the state’s Revolutionary War heritage. The key, a symbol of security, reflects the unit’s motto; the swords highlight combat readiness and teamwork and also reflect the motto. The Crest is that of Regiments and Separate Battalions of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
The Coat of Arms was authorized on 30 April 1996.
