D'azzurro, a tre monti al naturale, uscenti dalla punta, sormontati da tre stelle (6) d'argento poste in fascia.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 3, 1952.

Montes fertiles are the three hills on which ancient town of Acri, in Calabria (Southern Italy) was built. Letter V.A. mean "Vniversitatis Acrae", i.e. the Community of Acri. The word Vniversitatis (University) is the administrative name of ancient townships.
