Origin/meaningThe arms were granted in 1959. The star is taken from the oldest known seal of the local council, dating from the 16th century. The horn of plenty was taken from a figure on the local castle gate. In 1956 only the star was proposed as arms for the village, but the council wanted to add another local symbol: Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
