Official blazon

I himmelsblått, krysslagte, nedvendte sverd med sølv klinge og håndtak og parerstang i gull. Sverderne er bundet sammen av gull ring i krysningspunkten.
Motto: For Norge.

Origin/meaning

The badge symbolises the Cooperation between the Norwegian and British Forces during World War 2. The Squadron beeing formed as a RAF Squadron during that War. The badge was approved by King George VI on 21 July 1941. After the War it was approved by King Haakon VII and King Olav V on 4 April 1979. The Present Badge was approved by the Chief of Defence on 3 July 2008.
