Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms are partly canting, the name of the town is derived from Schief (target) and Bahn (range), and can be translated as shooting range. In medieval times there was a famous shooting range near the village.

The lower part shows a deer, the symbol of St. Hubertus, patron saint of the village.
