Sköld, medelst en vågskura delad av guld, vari en slägga och en yxa i kors, i övre vinkeln åtföljda av en hästsko, allt blått, och av blått, vari en båt av guld.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 10, 1946. The Horseshoe is taken from the Parish Seal. The Smith's Hammer and the Horseshoe also symbolises the former importance of Horseshoe
manufacturing. The Axe symbolises Forestry. The Boat symbolises manufacturing of Boats, whioch made Lima famous. The Wave symbolises the River Dalälven.
