Origin/meaning
The badge show the Arms of the Class Namesake Admiral Maximilian Daublebsky von Sterneck (1829–1897) Comamnder of the Austro-Hungarian Navy. During the Battle of Lissa in 1866 he fought on the side of Tegetthoff.
