In Blau über einer goldenen Weltkugel schwebend das goldene Gottesauge.

Origin/meaning

The oldest seal form the town dates from 1686 and shows the upper part of an archer. The present arms are based on a seal from 1800, which showed a ball. The upper part symbolises the Holy Trinity.
