Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 9, 1997.
The arms show an anchor, symbolising the local harbour. The two seals are canting, Camara de Lobos meaning "bay of sea lions".
The arms were previously granted on January 4, 1957 and only differ in the crown:
