In Blau schreitender Mönch mit Hut, Kutte samt Kapuze, Gürtel und Sandalen, alles braun, in der Rechten auswärts gewendeten weissen Pilgerstab führend; Gesicht Hände und Füsse sind weiss.

Origin/meaning

The monk is a canting symbol (Mönch), but at the same time is a symbol for the Säckingen Abbey, which ruled the area for a long time.
