Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1935.
Dauborn was part of the County Diez and became part of the county of Orange-Nassau in the 16th century. The seals of the local court did not show any arms, just a letter D. Ever since the seals showed a letter D, the shape changing with the times.
The arms based on a 15th century seal.
