Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 2, 1961.
The crosier refers to the former importance of the Niedermünster Convent in Regensburg, which owned part of the area. The red and silver refer to the Cathedral Chapter of Regensburg, which also had possessions in the village.
The barrel, spade and sampler are symbols for the Bavarian Brewery Office in Wörth.
