A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield blazoned: Sanguine, a Mohawk Indian head Or; attached below the shield a scroll inscribed “BOWMAN” in Maroon letters.


Origin/meaning

Maroon and gold are the colors of Bowman High School. The Mohawk Indian is the mascot of the school. The shoulder loop insignia was approved 19 October 1988.
