Origin/meaning

The Winged hand holding a sword symbolises the Offensive Combat Aircraft which are part of the Wing. The Shield symbolises the Anti Anti Aircraft Artillery and Base Defence that also make up the Wing. The badge was approved on 15 June 2016.
