Armoiries de Hoves

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 24, 1924.

The arms are derived from the arms of the Lords d'Enghien (Edingen), as the village was a possession of this family. The arms already appear on the 16th century seals of the council. See also Enghien.
