Segundo, en campo de gules, castillo de oro, mampostado de sable y aclarado de gules. Al timbre, corona real de España. El escudo va sobre una cartela blanca. |

Origin/meaning
The arms were created and officially granted on November 9, 1877 and confirmed on October 17, 2008.
The arms are combination of the arms of the city of Burgos and the castle of Castille.
Previously the arms of the city of Burgos were often used as the provincial arms:
