Region : Catalonia
Province : Tarragona
Catalan | Escut caironat truncat: al 1r. d'atzur, una creu grega abscisa fesa d'angles curvilinis i patent d'argent; i al 2n. d'or, 4 pals de gules. Per timbre una corona mural de poble. |

Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 15, 1982.
The cross is a traditional sign on the arms of Calafell; in fact, the church of the village is consecrated to the Holy Cross. The second partition shows the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four pales Gules on Or) reminding the jurisdiction of the Catalan kings over the village.
