Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 5th September 1995.

The towered wall with two crosses is a traditional sign of the arms of El Pla de Santa Maria, the wall probably alluding to the town, and the crosses to its two churches, Sant Ramon (13^th century) and Santa Maria (18^th century).
