Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 12th January 1984.

This cross on a triangle and the two eight-pointed stars are the traditional signs of the village arms. Vilobí developed around its castle and the church of Sant Esteve, and belonged successively to the lords of Sant Martí Sarroca and to the Pia Almoina of Barcelona, a charity institution.
