French |
Tranché: au 1er de gueules à l'oie sauvage essorante d'argent, becqué et membré d'or, au 2e de sinople au poisson en bande d'argent. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on September 12, 2003.
The colors red, green and silver are taken from the arms of the House of Dubois, lords of the village from 1660 to 1751.
The wild goose is the attribute of St Martin, patron saint of the village. The fish refers to the medieval Pebrère marshland crossed by the Ambène River, which was very full of fish.
