NO 836 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1942 at Royal Naval Air Station Palisadoes, Jamaica as a Torpedo-Bomber-reconnaissance Squadron. With No 860 Squadron it provided the Aircraft for the 19 Catapult Armed Merchantmen.

Origin/meaning
The Latin Motto translates as "By sea and sky". The Badge was approved on 20 December 1943.
