Arms of Åhus
Official blazon

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 17, 1948.

The arms are known since 1556, but are probably even older. The arms show a banner and a crosier for the Archdiocese of Lund, to which the area historically belonged. The grill is the symbol of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint, as well as the patron saint of Lund.
