White; between two branches of laurel green conjoined in base banded and fructed gold a dexter cubit arm erect proper the hand holding a trident bendwise sinister gold. Motto: Seavum tridentum servamus

Origin/meaning

From the arms of Rear Admiral Sir Philip Broke (1776-1841) commanded HMS Shannon against USS Chesapeake in 1813 and defeated her. The Latin Motto translates as "Let us keep the dread trident". The badge was appoved on 9 May 1923.
