German In Silber eine grüne Leiste begleitet oben von einer schwarzen Granitschale mit drei Füßen und unten von einem grünen Dreiberg, belegt mit einer bezinnten und oben schwarz bekreuzten goldenen Kirchturmspitze.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 17, 2000.

The upper half shows a large granite bowl, weighing 70 tonnes, made in Rauen in 1827 and currently in the garden of the Alte Museum in Berlin.

The lower half shows the local church tower on the Rauener Berge, 150 m high hills near the village.
