KAINDORF

State : Steiermark
District : Hartberg-Fürstenfeld (until 2015 Hartberg)
Additions: 2015 Dienersdorf, Hofkirchen bei Hartberg

Wappen von Kaindorf

Official blazon

Über einem blauen Lindenblattschnitt im Schildfuß in Gold ein blaues Jakobuskreuz.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 27, 1987 and again on September 1, 2015.

The Jakobuskreuz (Spanish design) denotes the patron saint of the church, St. Jacobus Maior, the Apostle.

The linden-leaves are a reference to the coat of arms of the Neuberger family, who owned many lands in the Middle Ages.
