Portuguese | Escudo de ouro com um monte negro realçado a verde, sustendo um castelo de vermelho, aberto e iluminado de campo, sendo a torre central carregada pelo escudo antigo das quinas de Portugal. O castelo é acompanhado por duas cruzes de Santiago de vermelho. Em contra-chefe, seis faixas ondeadas de prata e de azul, nas quais está vogando uma caravela de ouro realçada de negro e aparelhada de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " ALCÁCER DO SAL ", de negro. |

The arms were officially granted on July 12, 1997. The previous arms (below) were granted on May 6, 1936, and only differ in the crown.
