In Rot über einer gesenkten silbernen Wellendeichsel schräg gekreuzt zwei goldene Flammenschwerter.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 7, 1970.

The upper part symbolises the fire swords of St. Michael, who is the patron of the catholic church in Heustreu, the lower part symbolises the two rivers which flow together there, the Streu and the Saale.
