Origin/meaning

The wavy pales symbolise the Woleu and the Nyé rivers. The green colour refers to the forests in the area. The main crop is coffee, which is symbolised by the red colour and disks (red coffee cherries) and the silver (white coffee flowers). The cocoa pods refer to the second crop.
