Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 27, 1987.

The Jakobuskreuz (Spanish design) denotes the patron saint of the church, St. Jacobus Maior, the Apostle.

The linden-leaves are a reference to the coat of arms of the Neuberger family, who owned many lands in the Middle Ages.
