History:Raised in 1685 as the Queen Consort's Own Regiment of Dragoons, which in 1861 becom 3rd (King's Own) Hussars. In 1958 amalgamated with the 7th Queen's Own Hussars, British Army to form The Queen's Own Hussars, British Army
