Region : Trentino-Alto Adige
Province : Trento

Fiave.jpg

Official blazon

Troncato: nel 1° di verde alla ninfea d'argento; nel 2° d'oro al caratteristico reperto preistorico noto come Tazza di Fiavé, di nero.

Origin/meaning

Fiavè is built on the site of a prehistoric village, on and around the lake. The black cup represents a common artefact found in the old village (2300 BC). The water lily represents the marsh that is all around the prehistoric village: today this place is protected and there are different kinds of plants, but the remnants are completely covered by the turbid water and the peat.
