CASTELLAR DE LA RIBERA
Region : Catalonia
Province : Lleida
Official blazon
Escut caironat partit: d'atzur i d'argent ressaltant sobre el tot un castell de l'un en l'altre. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 13, 1996.
Canting arms: they show a "castell" (Catalan for "castle"). The colours refer to the Ribera Salada, that flows near the village: azure for the "ribera" (river) and argent for "salada" (salty).
