REMKERSLEBEN
State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Börde (until 2007 Bördekreis)
Additions : 1928 Meyendorf
Incorporated into : 2010 Wanzleben-Börde
Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on December 4, 1998.
The upper half shows a pair of scales, the symbol of the Archangel Michael, patron saint of the village. The saint also appeared on the historical seals of the village. The colours are also often connected with St. Michael.
The star is taken from the arms of Theresa Henkel, Abbess of the convent in Meyendorf.
