Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on May 6, 1971.

The arms show the crossed keys, the symbol of St. Peter, as a large part of the municipality historically belonged to the S. Peter Abbey in Salzburg. The cross is a symbol of the Holy Cross church in the village. The saw is a symbol for forestry.
