Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on August 14, 1967.
The upper half shows a marble lion's head, symbolising the marble quarries in the municipality. The five streams symbolise the Untersberger Quellen (springs) and at the same time the five villages in the municipality, Grödig, Fürstenbrunn, Glanegg, Eichet and St. Leonhard.
