Shield: Gules (Crimson), a barrulet dancetté couped Or between in chief a sword-breaker and in base a key both fesswise Or.
Crest: None.
Motto: I feed the flame
Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Gold color metal ad enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in heigt overall consiting of a shield blazoned:Gules (Crimson), a barrulet dancetté couped Or between in chief a sword-breaker and in base a key both fesswise Or. Attached below the shield a Gold scroll inscribed "I FEED THE FLAME" in Crimson.
Origin/meaning
Crimson and yellow are the colours of the Ordnance Corps. The special weapons function and the retaliatory nature of such weapons are represented by the sword-breaker. The security functions are symbolized by the key, and the barrulet indicates the widely separated points of origin of the two companies. The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit insignia was approved 27 May 1954.
