Crest: That for regiments and separate battalions of the Army Resreve: On a wreath of the colors, argent and azure, the Lexington Minute proper. The statue of the minuteman, Capt. John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the Common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Origin/meaning
Blue and silver grey (white) are the colours of the US Army Intelligence Units. The Sun symbolises the Greek Sun God Helios, who accoring to mythology could bring all secrets to light. The Globe symbolises the Worldwide mission.The lightning flashes symbolises electronic warfare and communications capabilities. The golden colour of the Lightnings and Sun alludes to the Unit's Home Area California, called "The Golden State". The Pyramid personifies longevity and strength.
