Origin/meaning

The Colours of the Insignia is taken from the facing colours of the Regiments who had Battalions making up the Brigade. The Blue border for the 6th Battalion, King's Own Shropshire Light Infantry; Green for 12th Battalion,. Sherwood Foresters; Grey for the 7th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment and Buff for the 7th Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment.
