Origin/meaning

The Squadron is based in the Trøndelag, symbolised by the Bow and Arrow or the Archer Einar Tambarskjelve. Who came from this PRovince and distinguished himself in the Battle of Svolder. The badge wass originally approved by King Haakon VII and later by King Olav V on 18 June 1980. The Present Badge form was approved by the Chief of Defence on 3 July 2008.
