Shield: Quartely Gules (Brick Red) and Or, in first the Morro Castle tower issuant from sinister base of the second windowed Argent; an escutcheon blazoned: Argent, a grape leaf pendent from a sprig Vert charged with two lightning bolts bendwise sinister Or, entoured by an annulet blemished at the first quarter counterchanged.
Crest: That for the regiments and separate corps of the Army reserve; From a wreath Or and Gules (Brick Red), the Lexigton Minute Man Proper. The Statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consiting of a gold sentry tower, as found in Morro Castle, San Juan, extending at top over a brick red annulet an surmounted withinb the annulet by a green grape leaf, the tower between and conjoined with two gold lightning flashes and the lower part of the annulet inscribed "ACTION ON WHEELS" in gold letters.

Origin/meaning

Brick Red and Golden Yellow are the colours of the Transportation Corps. The Lightning bolts represents the two campaign honours for World War II. The Grape leaf recalls the area of the two campaigns Central Europe and the Rhineland. The Annulet signify a wheel and mobility. The Tower indicates San Juan on Puerto Rico, home station of the Battalion.

The Coat of Arms was approved on 6 January 1997 and the Distinctive Unit Insignia on 9 September 1969.
