Shield: Azure, at the honor point the Sia Sun symbol Gules fimbriated Or. ("Said symbol shall have four groups of rays at right angles; each group shall consist of four rays, the two inner rays of the group shall be one-fifth longer than the outer rays of the group. The diameter of the circle in the center of the symbol shall be one-third of the width of the symbol.")
Crest: That for the regiments and separate battalions of the U.S. Army Reserve: On a wreath of the colors Or and Azure, the Lexington Minute Man Proper. The statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Motto: SUPER ARDUA SURGO (I Rise Above Difficulties).

Distinctive Unit Insignia. Description: A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure, at the honor point the Sia Sun symbol Gules fimbriated Or. Attached below the shield a Gold scroll inscribed "SUPER ARDUA SURGO" in Red letters. ("Said symbol shall have four groups of rays at right angles; each group shall consist of four rays, the two inner rays of the group shall be one-fifth longer than the outer rays of the group. The diameter of the circle in the center of the symbol shall be one-third of the width of the symbol.")

Origin/meaning

The Sun Symbol alludes to the former Home Area of the Regiment, New Mexico. The Crest is that for Regiments and Separate Battalion of the Army Reserve. The arms were approved for the 410th Infantry Regiment 15 June 1925, and transferred to the 410th Regiment on 9 July 1999. The Crest was removed on 29 July 1959, it was reinstated on 26 June 1970.
