Crest: Our of a wreath of the colors (Or and Gules [Crimson]) a Philippine sun of the first charged with a taeguk Proper surperimposed by a torii gate Gules, overall a wreath of two palm branches Proper.

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per fess abased Gules (Crimson) and Or issuant from a bar abased wavy Azure (Light blue) a heraldic sea lion holding in dexter paw a pheon all of the second. Attached below the shield is a Red scroll inscribed "STRENGTH IN SERVICE" in Gold.

Origin/meaning

Crimson and Yellow are for the Ordnance Corps, representing the original service of the organisation. The Sealion symbolises service in the Pacific during World War II. The Pheon is for the Landing on Leyte. The wavy fess in the Colour of the Korean Service Ribbon, refer to service in the Korean War. The Red Torri, Taeguk and Palm Wreath symbolises the Unit's Presidental Unit Citation (Army) and its two Republic of Korea Presidental Unit Citations. The Sun adapted form the arms of the Philippines, denotes the Philippine Presidental Unit Citation.

The Coat of Arms and distinctive Unit Insignia, was orignally approved for the 724th Ordnance Battalion on 19 October 1954. It was redesignated for the 724th Maintenance Battalion on 1 April 1963. It was redesignated for the 724th Support Battalion on 28 July 1987. The arms were amended to add a Crest on 10 August 1988.
