Reconstituted, and redesignated as 7 Mission Support Squadron, on 7 March 1989. Activated on 1 May 1989. Inactivated on 30 September 1993. Activated on 1 October 1993. Redesignated as 7 Force Support Squadron on 8 July 2008.
