833RD CIVIL ENGINEER SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

Coat of arms (crest) of the 833rd Civil Engineer Squadron, US Air Force
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

Compass: Represents the engineering career fields that are part of the safe, accurate building skills needed to start projects during peacetime or war (civil, mechanical, electrical engineers and architects)
Shovel: Represents the building trades (carpenters, HVAC, pavement and grounds, entomology, plumbers, painters, etc)
Wings: Represent our mobility status. Although we had a mission on base during peacetime, our primary mission was to support the fighting forces abroad
Colors: The colors are the same as those used in the Prime BEEF (Base Engineering Emergecy Force) because we fell under the Prime BEEF umbrella during wartime
