Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent, on a bend Or edged Sable between in chief a terrestial globe of the first, landmasses and fimbriation of the third and in base a lion rmapant Buff, eyed, langued and armed Gules, a sword of the third, point to dexter chief. Attached below a tripartite Black scroll inscribed "PARATUS ET CERTUS" in Silver.
