Di rosso alla torre d'argento, merlata alla guelfa e caricata della Parola AMNIA, piantata su un piano roccioso emergente da una superficie di acqua d'azzurro, ondata di argento.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 15, 1924.

The castle and the water represent the medieval lake with the castle on an island. The red colour refers to thebloody struggles between Ezzelino Da Romano and the Da Carrara family, who ruled the city. The word Amnia on the tower is the historical name of the area. In 1940 the arms were shown without the name on the tower:
