AIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND, US AIR FORCE

History: Established as Air Corps Flying Training Command, and activated, on 23 January 1942. Redesignated as: Army Air Forces Flying Training Command, c. 15 March 1942; Army Air Forces Training Command on 31 July 1943; Air Training Command on 1 July 1946; Air Education and Training Command on 1 July 1993.
Headquarters : Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.
