Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The ladder is taken from the arms of the city of Brüssow, the seal of the Amt. The 8 steps refer to the originally 8 municipalities that formed the Amt in 1992, with the city of Brüssow as the main vertical part of the ladder. The colours are those of Brandenburg.
